You’re one of my literary heroes. And I’m very glad that your vampires aren’t brooding and shiny.

Cool. I like this video interview because, unlike your book jacket, it does not make you look short. Looking forward to the book, of which you seem to already have a copy

okay… admit it… who here has a crush on Chris?

I am so excited!!! You choose to release Bite Me on MY BIRTHDAY JUST FOR ME!!! I cannot wait to have it in hand.
also I second Camille. shiny vampires are not right and should be exterminated in your next vampire tale by the real vampires!
Who doesn’t have a crush on a man that can make you laugh and cry and feel uplifted with amazing amounts of silliness?! I rarely laugh out loud and I always treasure the occasions that bring it out.

Here’s to the “Author Guy”… love it!!!
My favorite of all your books so far is “Fool”…however, I will read this one, too. Ewww…vampire kitties…eeek! Wait…I mean…Cool…!
Master Moore, you are absolutely my favorite author! Your books are always replete with magnificent quirky humor & an intelligent unique storyline…all rolled into one magnificant tome…plus are plain old laugh-out-loud funny!
Can’t wait to read “Bite Me”…oh, by the way…love the widget, Chris! Thanks for sharing your genius!

Regarding my comment, in the spirit of non-redundancy & good spelling…I would like to note that I used the word “magnificant” twice in the same sentence…AND misspelled it…twice! Blast!
I wish to change my line to read: “Your books are always replete with ‘terrific’ quirky humor and an intelligent unique storyline…all rolled into one magnificEnt tome”…yada, yada, yada…
Okay…I feel a bit better…drove everyone else nuts…but I feel a bit better…thanks!

I second (third?) Camille as well, yay no shiny vampires! I’m so sick of the teeny bopper swoony crap!
I too am crushing…don’t tell the hubby…
Totally psyched about the vampire cats, esp. since I picture one of my cats when reading about Chet. It makes it even funnier.
And Christopher Moore’s books are the only books I have ever read and literally laughed out loud! Love you!

Okay, don’t shoot me, I like shiny vampires. I have my own little PocketEdward who travels with me and has his own adventures.
I also like Chris’ vampires, love his sense of humor. I’m now reading Lamb for the fourth time. I spent yesterday on a couple of flights from the Florida Keys to Virginia and got a lot of looks because I was drooling from laughing so hard.
And now that I’m moving TO the damn Keys, you’ll be in Washington DC and NOT Florida. Not fair, Chris, not fair.

Waiting to read it… in Spanish, as always (for my bad english and all this).
I love your books.
Kisses!

I have to stop reading you in public because I am constantly bursting out in laughter! Can’t wait to see you in King of Prussia!

Pre-ordered “Bite Me” from Amazon the VERY INSTANT I heard it was coming out; now (Tuesday, 3-23-10) it’s on its way, but won’t be here ’til Thursday the 25th—but I could walk into Borders today and buy it FOR THE EXACT SAME PRICE I AM PAYING AMAZON!
Amazon pre-shipped the Harry Potter books so that they arrived the day they were available in stores – aren’t Abby, C. Thomas (aka The Dark Lord) Flood and that gorgeous red-haired Mistress of the Greater Bay Area Night, Jody Stroud, worthy of the same treatment as Harry, Ron and Hermione?
Life’s not fair…

Thanks for the new book! We celebrate your entire collection up here in the last frontier… AND have to beg the question… when o’ when will you be visiting us in Alaska?!

Life Is Good! Little brown smiley-face package was waiting on the doorstep when I got home – and inside was “Bite ME”!
All is forgiven, Amazon…

If I had a pair of stripy socks, I would say that “Bite Me” totally rocks my stripy socks! Forget sparkly vampire wussy-bitches hanging out in the forest—Jody, Flood, Abby, Foo-Dog, Jared, Rivera, Cavuto, the Animals, the Emperor, and all the rest RULE THE LITERARY VAMPIRE WORLD!
This is The Author Guy’s best work – hands, down, bar none: everything he has written before was just a warm-up for “Bite Me”. I hope you have a lot of money socked away for retirement, Chris, because you might as well power down the ol’ word processor NOW—it just does not get any better than this!
