“Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. “She asked the library how she could go about banning books,” he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. “The librarian was aghast.” The librarian, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn’t be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire her for not giving “full support” to the mayor.”
Ban books because the words might offend some people? Fuck that.

No surprise here. The wench openly supported a minister who was proud of his literal witch-hunting in Africa…had boasted of chasing a woman from her home & village because she was a witch, etc. I found it ironic that the press didn’t have a field day with this like they did with Obama’s former minister. Oh where did I put that silly list of double-standards and political fuckstickery?
